     Bellaire finished in 1st place in D2 last year, and put together a good run and advanced to their first ever state tournament, where they lost in championship game to Trinity.
      Bellaire will have a new head coach this year, as long time JV coach Mike Mohnkern takes over the helm for Bob Jones. With a mix of returning varsity members and players from their strong JV1 program that are used to the Monhkern style, the Cards look to cause trouble and make things interesting in D1.
